Owner Richard Court
A native of Prince Edward Island, Richard joined The Pilot House team as General Manager in 2006. Prior to joining The Pilot House his background was extensive in both retail and bar/restaurant management. Richard brings to The Pilot House an energy and warmth that our customers revel in, and customer service that is exemplary. We are very proud to say that Richard became a partner in the business in 2012.
Chef Jared Acorn
A graduate of the Culinary Institute, Jared worked at The Pilot House from 2004 until 2009. He then moved to Calgary and had the privilege of working at two of the top rated restaurants – Divino Wine & Bar and Catch. Jared moved back to PEI in 2012 and worked at such esteemed establishments as Dunes and RedShores. In March, 2013 we were delighted to welcome Jared back to The Pilot House as Head Chef. Sourcing fresh and local ingredients, Jared aspires to highlight the very best of PEI’s harvest from land and sea.
